When you rent a server, the "Port Speed" refers to the maximum physical capacity of your network card.
1 Gbps (Standard/Budget): This is the default for most VPS and entry-level dedicated servers. It handles standard web traffic, small office VPNs, and moderate API usage comfortably.
10 Gbps (High Performance): This has become the standard for e-commerce, game servers, and SaaS platforms. It is designed to handle thousands of concurrent users and massive file transfers without the "gridlock" that can happen on a 1 Gbps line during peak hours.
